I was at the international political marketing congress held in Stockholm, Sweden on September 18-21.
I have orally presented a research I have done in Gaziantep on the factors that affect voters' political party preferences.
Around 80 scientists from 25 different countries discussed 48 papers in this congress for two days.
There were very original presentations and good discussions.
Participants followed all research with great attention and understanding.
There was a great positive atmosphere.
I also consider myself very lucky to have had the opportunity to be with the most important political marketing experts of the world academic community for two days.

We attended the congress as a total of five academicians from Osman Gazi University and Boğaziçi University.
As one of the first academics working in political marketing in Turkey, I think it is very important for the development of political marketing science in our country that there are other academicians who have started working on this subject and the number of them is increasing.
With the process that started with the September 11 attack on the twin towers and continued with the process we call the Arab Spring, the understanding of democracy in the global world has changed and political marketing will now determine the political future of the global world.
From now on, the future of politics and democracy will be shaped by political marketing practices.
The more accurately we use and implement political marketing practices, the healthier we will have a democracy culture.
As stated in the title of the article, there is no democracy alone anymore!
Democracy is dead, we will say long live political marketing from now on.
I would like to share another good news.
If I can find enough support, there has been a situation where, after the national marketing congress, the international political marketing congress will be held in Gaziantep, hosted by Gaziantep University.
Of course, such international organizations are very difficult.
