Gaziantep University continues to break new ground.
As you know, in the Faculties of Medicine, the last year is read as "intern".
After the theoretical knowledge they have received in the first five years, the students of the Faculty of Medicine do their last year in hospital clinics or services like a doctor.
This practice is considered very important for doctor candidates to start their work with enthusiasm.
Our university carried out a pilot application in the engineering faculty two years ago to see if this good practice could be implemented in other faculties.
Such good results were obtained from the pilot application that other suitable faculties were also included.
Since 2014, the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences have also been included in the interns.
The education period, which is eight semesters, will be reduced to seven semesters, and our İİBF students will spend their last semester working in an institution related to their profession.
After the positive results of the application in the Faculty of Medicine and the pilot application in the Faculty of Engineering, we are aware of the importance of the intern application for FEAS students.
As instructors, of course, we give theoretical information to our students, but sometimes theoretical information may be missing in professional life.
We also think that there will be a lot of things that our students can learn from the practical knowledge of our institutions and organizations.
By taking advantage of this power of our companies, we want to train more qualified students that the market needs.
We want to see our companies as a part of training and we expect companies to take ownership of this process.
Our companies that accept our students will accept these students as guests for four months.
These students have to work as a staff member of the institution and organization related to the department they are studying, not as a trainee student.
An official of each company will be an advisor to our students, and this advisor will teach and grade our students.
If the officer of the company gives an insufficient grade to a student, our student will not be able to graduate from the School.
Our students will not impose any financial burden on institutions and organizations.
Our university will pay the SSI premiums.
Issues such as food, transportation and salary are left to the discretion of our institutions and organizations.
This practice is also sustainable.
Starting from 2014, it will continue for two terms per year.
As İİBF, we have made all our preparations.
We have sent an invitation letter to all institutions and organizations in Gaziantep, and we will continue to do so.
Now it is the turn of our institutions and organizations to speak.
Please, we expect you to inform our invitation as much as you can.

Note: If the student completes the documents requested by İŞKUR, the institution or organization will be able to pay a daily fee of 25 TL to each student for 4 months.
