Recently, storytelling has started to become widespread, and it has become the center of attention everywhere from teachers to educators, from parents to young people, from healthcare professionals to the business world. In particular, the business world started to use stories to gain competitive advantage and to tell their corporate stories effectively. There are some guidelines for accurate and effective storytelling. Let's take a look at these…

be yourself. Don't try to be perfect, to be perfect, to do your best. Sincerity is a component of all conversations and presentations, not just storytelling. Think, please, would we love Sakıp Sabancı as much if he had changed his accent?

Don't tell any story you don't believe in. Words have invisible powers. People feel that you do not believe.
Be authentic and local. your own experiences
Use the experiences of your colleagues, the stories of the geography you live in. It will be more effective if you tell the story of your colleague, Mehmet Bey, instead of Steve Jobs, at the year-end meeting.

The introduction to your story should be compelling. You should grab the attention of the audience with your first sentences. You can start with a question or a promising sentence.
Observe those who tell good stories. Watch how they begin their story, how they connect with the audience, how they use their body language and tone of voice. TEDx talks, summits in our country and documentaries of leaders can inspire you on this subject.
To tell an effective story, you need to have a lot of stories. You have to read a lot, watch a lot, take a lot of notes. You can prepare a “Story Archive” file for yourself and collect all the stories you like and say “I will use it one day” here.
Anyone who tells a good story knows that the most important thing is who your audience is. Who and what are you talking about? You can tell the same story differently to senior management and to your team differently. The more you know your audience, the stronger the message you want to convey with your story.
All stories that touch the emotions of the listeners benefit from language games. Use rhetorical techniques whenever possible in your story. “The power of metaphors, adjectives, and similes is as powerful as the magic in fairy tales,” says Tolkien.
Just because you have a good story doesn't mean you'll tell it well. What kind of atmosphere you will create, how you will set up the conflict and how the final will be is most important. You can work on your story or get support from an expert on this subject.
Every person is special. Every person's story is the most amazing story in the world. That's why the most influential story
is your story of success and failure, dreams and disappointments, defeat and victory.
