LIVABLE GAZİANTEP

The topic of discussion these days is livable cities.

Ankara was in the first place and Gaziantep was in the 60th place.

I have not seen the detailed form of the study.

A journal has determined some criteria that are accepted at the national level and made an evaluation based on these criteria.

The ranking of 81 provinces has emerged.

In other words, he did not set separate criteria for each province.

He applied the same criteria for each province.

If we divide the cake into three slices, Gaziantep is in the third slice, that is, the last slice.

Of course, this result is not a good result.

It takes some thinking about it.

Not a little, actually, you need to think seriously.

First of all, I would like to point out one thing.

Gaziantep uses good numbers easily, but does not display the same attitude for bad numbers.

When a bad figure comes up, it immediately comes up with an objection reflex instead of serious thinking.

The reasons that make Gaziantep 60th, 79th, 80th are hidden in the figures.

Gaziantep's positive numbers are very good, they will be even better.

Gaziantep has this potential, this power.

The reflexes shown to positive numbers should also be shown when negative numbers appear.

Even more reflexes need to be shown.

Gaziantep needs to make peace with the negative numbers, even go one step further and make self-criticism.

After discussing rows 60, 79, 80 for a day or two, we leave the matter there and continue on our way as if nothing had happened.

65% of the total population of this city is under the age of 30.

While the ratio of the population aged 0-4 in the total population was 11.86% in 2007, this ratio increased to 12.42% in 2010.

The young population continues to increase.

I think that the photograph that emerged with the intense migration experienced in the 1990s is not well read and therefore necessary and sufficient measures have not been taken.

When the characteristics of the families who migrated to Gaziantep province are examined, it will be seen that the average households are large.

90% of the total population of Gaziantep province lives in city centers, but does this 90% population live the "urban" life?

What % of the buildings within the borders of the Metropolitan Municipality have a city view?

Where are we in terms of air, environment, visual and noise pollution?

Can people go to their homes in peace and sit in peace?

Does Gaziantep have a culture of public transportation and traffic?

Why hasn't the commercial taxi culture developed in Gaziantep?

If you have time, take the dolmus and private public buses from time to time.

If you haven't been, you won't know what I mean.

In order for a city to be a livable city, the man of the hand looks at these.

Inspecting all areas of Gaziantep

needs training and guidance.

Our industry is very good, our exports are super.

No one can talk about our baklava, kebab, or lahmacun.

But it should not be forgotten that man is a social being.

We seem to have neglected the social side of people in Gaziantep.

With the hope of a livable Gaziantep…..
