What is this being Ansar?

After sifting through a few literatures on the subject, the following photograph emerged;

Ansar means "helpers, helpers" in Arabic.

As an adjective, it means "loving all, helping all".

As a term, it has been termed as an identity to a community with the Hijra event, which has a great importance in terms of the historical development of the religion of Islam.

In the history of Islam, the Muslims of Medina who helped the immigrants who migrated from Mecca to Medina were called Ansar; In the Qur'an, this community is mentioned by Allah.

The people of Medina, known as Ansar in Islamic history; They invited the first Muslims who were persecuted in Mecca to their cities, shared their houses and lands with them, and risked that their city would be attacked by the enemies because of this invitation.

They gave their lives without responding to their enemies for a long time until they were allowed to fight with the verse, and when the verse was revealed, they fought for Islam.

It is also referred to as Muhajir or Muhajirun in some sources. It is used for Meccan Muslims who migrated from Mecca to Medina with the Prophet Muhammad.

This important event, which marks the beginning of the Islamic Hijri calendar, is called Hijra.

The self-sacrificing Muslims who welcomed the Muhajirun Muslims in Madinah and helped them establish a new life by sharing all their wealth with them are called Ansar.

Turkey and Gaziantep are making a very important sacrifice in this sense.

There are very few civilized countries in the world that make similar sacrifices.

No country other than Turkey would do this favor to another country.

If the same thing had happened to us, even Syria would not have made this sacrifice for us.

However, we need to highlight another issue.

People of Gaziantep need to sit crookedly and speak correctly.

Being an Ansar is not hosting guests in picket shops!

Being an Ansar is not selling a picket shop with a very high rent!

Being an Ansar is not renting out four walls without doors, windows, ceilings or toilets.

Being an Ansar is not about making cheap use of the labor of our guests!

Being an Ansar is not at all taking advantage of an opportunity.

Maybe our mistake was this;

We did not foresee that our guests would stay this long.

We couldn't take any serious action.

We left everything with good intentions.

In this process, we had two choices.

Elections made us very nervous.

We did not take into account that some of these tensions would somehow take over.

We had to take into account that there might be some ill-intentioned guests among the over one million guests.

A few isolated incidents took the matter to a very different level.

We have to be very careful and prudent.

We need to take our precautions without hurting, breaking or spilling.

We need to finish well what we started well.
